Mike and the whole team at Zen Windows Portland exceeded expectations! They fully replaced 5 lead paint-encrusted windows in our 1920’s home. They took every measure to insure the safety of our family by fully walling off the work area floor to ceiling with plastic tarp to ensure no lead dust escaped. We were concerned with the lead because two of the windows were in our young son’s room but they took every precaution to keep the area clean and dust free. Mike (owner) wouldn’t let us even talk about payment until he did a final walkthrough and ensured we were 100% satisfied with every aspect of our new windows. 10/10 will chose Zen Windows when we replace the other windows in our home.

My wife and I checked into many other companies before deciding to go with Zen Windows. Mike was nice and professional from the start but I’ll be honest most of the reason we decided to go with them is the price was great and bonus that it’s a small local business. We couldn’t be happier with our decision, the windows are great quality, look fantastic and were installed in a timely manner. They also installed a front door for us and did an amazing job with that as well. I really have nothing negative to say. A good experience from start to finish, replacing old single-pane windows throughout the house. Mike provided clear product information, answered all my questions, and went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly. The crew couldn’t have been better – strong, smart, kind and incredibly fast guys got those windows installed with minimal disruption to the household and even vacuumed the rugs before they left. We noticed an immediate change in heating efficiency with the improved insulation.

Zen Windows did an excellent job with replacing the windows in our house. The owner Mike was very professional and responsive. Mike and his team are absolutely amazing! I received many bids for the windows we needed replaced and Mike was the only one who did not go about it as a sales pitch. I genuinely felt like he wanted what was best for our home and us. He even looked at a couple windows I was debating redoing and told me how I could fix my main complaints so I wouldn’t need to replace them. The windows also have a great warranty and the total price was one of the more affordable options of all the other quotes/bids we received. When his team was replacing the windows they were very kind and very very clean! they even helped us move heavy furniture out of the way. My new windows look amazing! I could not have been more pleased with our experience and I will only use Mike and his team in the future for all my window/door needs!

Mike and his team recently helped us replace our large picture window in our kitchen.
