Mike Steckle was our salesperson, and he was straightforward and kept his hand on the job the whole way through including after completion. He is definitely the man to call for new windows. The install team did a fantastic job on a challenging replacement for a 200 year old house, and they were very polite and careful to keep our house clean. The new Infinity windows are so much quieter, and keep our house so much warmer it’s amazing. It’s hard to make an investment like this in replacing windows, but this certainly felt well worth it.

We bought a large three panel door from Quality Door and Window. Christian in sales was extremely knowledgeable and provided clear, concise answers to all of our many questions. We are detail people and had many questions about thermal performance, air sealing, laminated glass, and more. He provided clear answers with no pressure or obfuscation. The install team lead by Wayne was fantastic; on time, clean, efficient and excellent attention to detail, which is critical to achieving a tight, insulated and sealed door. They did a great job, they noticed and corrected issues before we even asked. A great experience all around.

Quality Window and Door did a fantastic job with our window replacement project. Mike Steckel was the initial contact. His presentation was thorough, and he educated us on windows. We had 4 companies share their product, and Mike’s was the most understandable. The price was reasonable compared to others. Mike came back with the man who measured and again on the installation day to check the job. I was impressed by his commitment. On the day of the job, the crew were so professional. They protected every surface in our home and even took off their shoes to protect the floor every time they came in with each new window. They installed our 13 windows with care and skill in under 5 hours. The windows look wonderful, our house is quieter, and (my worry) they didn’t leak in the recent days of rain. Since they took such care on what I could see, I believe they took that much care in the installation parts that I didn’t see. I’m very satisfied.

Without Dennis, we would not have new windows in our house. Only through his persistence, skilled negotiating, and relationships with Norwood (who made the original windows 20 years ago) headquartered in Canada were we able to get replacements for over fifty windows. I went overkill with research and even reached out to Houston Window Experts after being disappointed/frustrated by most of the window and door companies. First, educate yourself on what makes a good window, what makes a good installation, products used in the installation. Don’t buy until you spend sometime watching Houston Window Experts via YouTube This is a trustworthy company with ethics out of Houston and they only would recommend one company in the Washington/Baltimore area after my complaints that they need to open up a company here; they gave me one recondition and it was Quality Window & Door. Next, I physically went to the showroom and met Mike Steckel. Right on point, he was professional and we discussed my options and my needs. He spent quite a bit if time and effort helping me not only at that meeting, but over the course of a year! Who does that! He did. Zero pressure and no garbage..if you buy today, etc., and Mike responded to every question that I asked! I wanted to buy a Wood/Aluminum clad product but that became unavailable due to Covid / costs if materials and Mike helped me find an alternative product. I selected the Marvin Fiberglass line (not the same you find in HD) verses another vinyl product that will fail over time; watch the videos! Next came time for the install and I hit a point where I was too busy with work and Mike again was great with assuring me a two month delay wasn’t a problem. The install team that arrived was amazing, and my wife loved the Project Manager and the install crew which arrived on time, very nice group of guys, and they prepped all areas affected. They installed all 14 windows, and did a fantastic job with the caulking inside and out and used a quality caulk product that other companies use inferior products; again, educate yourself! Details matter! Tracy the coordinator also gets praise and ensured all aspects of the install went according to plan. I have a front door that is next! Do yourself a favor and put this company at the top of your quotes. I highly recommend this company and state this question, why buy from a local window company (TC), or HD – builder grade, or Anderson Renewal with insane prices and not even 100% fiberglass and high pressure…but today or else you lose out! These windows are beautiful. We spent A LOT of time with Cliff selecting various types of windows- awnings, picture and fixed and slider doors of different sizes. Cliff is extremely well versed on his product and able to explain all the details.

Customer support and dealing with minor issues- a small crack on the plastic on a side of a slider, one door not moving as easily, ensuring the screens didn’t slide back and forth across a large span was above and beyond.

Bonnie, Wayne and John were friendly and easy to work with.

Mike worked with us to make the project fit our budget and guided the installation process from start to finish, along with Gary Zalovick, who measured our windows for the install. Both of these men showed up both days of the installation, going over each window detail with a fine-toothed comb. The crew boss, Jose Rivera, was very thorough and conscientious, and his hard-working crew were amazing! They were incredibly responsive from my first online inquiry, and Mike H. was more than willing to answer my dozens of questions and price out options. Aside from providing me with the most reasonable quote out of the 3 that I received from companies, Quality Window & Door made the entire window replacement process smooth, easy and enjoyable from my first meeting with Stan Collington, my Sales Rep who was sooo thorough and knowledgeable about my window options and a sheer delight to be around, to Tracey who handled the contract execution and installation scheduling with efficiency and with the most pleasant personality, to Gary who took the measurements making sure the new windows fit like a glove and directed the installation crew (who, by the way, went over and above when a trim issue was encountered and he brainstormed with the install lead on the best way to handle it…which turned out STUNNING! Love it, Gary!)! Last, but not least…the incredible installation crew! They were soooo professional, efficient and pleasant! I was soooo impressed with Quality that I ordered 8 more windows AND requested that very same installation crew! If you want a Company to treat your home as they would their own home, choose Quality Window & Door…they truly do treat you like family!

I have solid trust Quality Window & Door! Since they installed our La Cantina accordion doors from in our kitchen we have had in the past 7 years some need to make adjustments as the door began to jam during operation. Both times, it was a quick turnaround and fix – and a clear explanation of why, as well as fair cost to make the quality, technical adjustments. Wayne was here at the promised time! and super “customer focused”. We bought all our doors and windows that we replaced during renovation and I would continue that relationship with confidence.

We purchased a large sliding glass door a little over a year ago. Not only do I love the quality and style of my large sliding glass door from Quality Windows & Doors, but I have also become very impressed with the team behind the door. Nick N and Christian have been very responsive whenever I have had a question. Also, when the door needed some attention, John and Wayne were quick to come over and address it. They know their product well and are always very upbeat and professional. I have been quite pleased with the door and the service behind it and would recommend these guys.

After researching the best replacement windows on YouTube, I found Houston Window Experts with an array of videos that helped me educate myself on what makes a great window. Living in Baltimore, I started the process of requesting quotes which turned into a high pressure (you must buy tonight to get the best deal) was the norm and even big box HD which was surprising. From Jeff’s videos I knew this tactic was unprofessional and the details of the various window companies show inferior to what I wanted to purchase. Finally a local window manufacturer TC showed me their best quote and again the pressure sales, and I said no to all and emailed Houston Window Experts to see if they knew any ethical and trustworthy companies here that emulates the values and most importantly their behaviors. They actually answer me and said one they know is Quality Window and Door. So I reached out to Mike Steckel and I visited their office / showroom. He treated me as I would except HWE would and I purchased 14 windows by Marvin (Fiberglass) for the same price as the local manufacturer for 12 windows made with vinyl and less glass. The install team was amazing and passed my wife’s standards for prepping the area. I recommend Quality Window and Door and many thanks to Houston Window Experts that helps educate consumers! Thanks!
